Grilled Shrimp


In keeping with the theme of summer time grilling, here is another great recipe sure to rock your world. You can fix these as an hors d’oeurve or as the main dish to your meal. Either way, it is going to be a big hit. I have a ton of recipes to share. Some are entirely my own creation, and some are recipes I have picked up over the years and really liked. Instead of letting them sit gathering dust on recipe cards, it is time to share with the masses.

Place the shrimp in your zip lock bag and then mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl Pour over the shrimp and let marinate for at least a couple of hours. Reserve about 1/3 of your marinade to baste the shrimp with while cooking.

Start a fire on your grill with good hardwood charcoal and let heat until the coals are all gray. As your charcoal is heating, prepare your shrimp for cooking on the skewers.

Grill 5 to 7 minutes. Turn and baste frequently with your reserve marinade. Once done, serve with Cajun Butter to add to the pleasure sensation to your taste buds.
