4 slices bacon
1# ground beef 93 % lean
2 dill pickles, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 T. Tomato paste
1 c. whipping cream
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
5 1/3 oz. Lettuce
Preheat oven to 400 F. (200 C.) Dice the bacon into smaller pieces and fry over medium heat.
Add ground beef to pan and slightly increase heat. Continue frying while stirring into beef is cooked through.
Chop dill pickles and tomatoes and add to pan with minced garlic, seasonings and half the cheese
Grease baking dish and add ground beef mixture
Mix eggs, cream and tomato paste and season to taste
Pour egg mixture over ground beef and add the rest of the cheese on top
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the casserole turns golden brown
Serve with lettuce.
