Yes, it is!
Sugar free just really means sweeteners are used 🤔
Yes, we do use other sweeteners that are calorie free and very low on the glycemic index. By eliminating sugar, we also eliminate the blood sugar and insulin dumps that cause cravings.
I’m sorry, I got pulled away and my answer was not complete. We also do not advocate using sugar because it causes inflammation in the body. Inflammation is the precursor to many preventable illnesses.
Yes I get skin rashes/inflammation when I eat too much sugar
Sugar-free simply means no sugar added. David referred to the inflammatory action of sugar. It is also a source of empty calories that can cause weight gain and even malnutrition when sugary foods replace nutritionally dense choices.
Sweeteners are safe to use ?
As with anything, some people might have a reaction to a sweetener while others will not. For the most part, we only use Splenda and erythritol. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that tastes like sugar and passes through your body undigested. Unlike other sugar alcohols, erythritol is not known for causing gastrointestinal upset. We like Swerve brand erythritol.
Never heard of sugar alcohol before thanks 😊
It will not get you intoxicated.😁
Erythritol is the only one that is not known to cause gastrointestinal upset. It is the only type I use.
