Don’t Give Up!

It’s Not Over… Until It’s Over

I have heard it said that joy comes in the morning. Regardless of your war, whether it is weight management or something else, morning is the moment that everything changes. Morning is the moment that the slightest glimmer of light seeps into your life, because light destroys darkness. The moment that a single ray of light penetrates into darkness, it is no more.

Darkness is whatever has you trapped into a helpless, or victim’s state of mind. It may be simply not knowing that there is a way out. It may be something, or someone, more tangible. In the battle of weight loss, it can be a “friend” who wants to keep you their prisoner, to do their bidding. In other, more painful situations, the darkness may be an environment that you seem to be unable to escape. Believe me. There is a way out. All you need is one ray of light. When you see that light, run to it. The darkness is already destroyed.

The coldest moment of the night is the moment before sunrise. The earth has cooled for hours and the temperature has dropped. If you feel cold, lonely, forgotten, know that you are not forgotten. The sun is just about to shine. Keep watching. Sometimes our feelings of sadness and isolation can affect many choices that we make, including our nutritional choices. To win, you need to be strong. Make the best nutritional choices that you can make every day of your life, but especially when you are struggling with other issues. You need your strength and health then more than any other time.

You are stronger than you know. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Always know and remember this. When we know that we are strong and believe that we can’t be broken, we emerge victorious. You can do whatever you really want to do. Decide what that is and let NOTHING stand in your way.

You CAN do this. You have everything that you need inside of you to escape the weight that so easily besets you.

Give it all you’ve got.

Be fearless.

You have already seen the light.
